A designer, poet, and a blogger, Iqrar is a seasoned Creative Person. iQ as he is often called; is a guy with a passion for good design and great words in the form of copy. He actively seeks a challenge to convert the brief into an opportunity for himself and to paint the blank canvas which at times could be quite daunting to start with.
His career in art and advertising spans over nineteen years, His portfolio comprises concept oriented Above the line as well as Below the Line work. His accomplishments include being a part of the team, winning a Gold at Midas Awards for BNH Annual Report 2009, during his long stint in the Kingdom of Bahrain; the Mudra Extra Punch Award at erstwhile Mudra Communication, (DDB Mudra) New Delhi for consecutively two years for HBO press Ad and Dainik Jagran’s Social Ad.
During this time he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in communication art, art direction, design direction, branding, event exhibition & display, Hindi copywriting and translations as an added skill to his repertoire.

He offers creative and practicable solutions and the skills to bring campaign ideas a tangible reality especially in the old school of print advertising.
He shares a strong affinity towards and is drawn to organization’s (Garage Collective) visions and ideas not just in rhetoric but in action. His long association with some of the top-notch agencies in both domestic and international markets has equipped him well to sync him with the company’s goals.
He prides himself for his original, innovative and conceptual thinking. His work methodologies always are firmly grounded and are in sync with the company’s vision, culture, ethics and effective strategies.
Strength & Skill Set
His ability to conceptualise the given brief, his love of good copy and a knack for writing in Hindi/Hindustani language (translations; with poem and jingle writing skills), knowledge of photography, pre-press and production gives him an edge in the ever-dynamic, ever-growing environment at Garage Collective.
